Snickerdoodles

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbs. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
Mix butter, shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly.

Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt.

Form in 1 inch balls then, roll in sugar and cinnamon.

Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 F.
