- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. club soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. clove
- 1 egg beaten
Add molasses and egg.
Mix together the remaining ingredients then, add to the above.
Roll in sugar.
Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 F.
